Attire & Transportation

Hi everyone!
We leave in the morning for Charleston and we are so excited to see everybody! I just thought I'd post about the dress for Saturday and Sunday for those of you who don't already know.

Rehearsal Dinner Saturday:
Super casual. You can wear shorts and flipflops if you want. It's a beach party afterall!

Wedding Sunday:
It's on the grass, so flats are best. Sundresses and sandals are perfect for the girls and shirts with ties would be just right for the guys, but no jackets. It'll be hot out!

Also, if you are flying in and would like someone to come get you from the airport, just call me or my Dad and we'll arrange for you to be picked up. We'll be driving vans from the beach & hotels to the wedding on Sunday.

Hotel room block

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Charleston Marriott Hotel at a rate of $139/night for Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. Make sure you use the code OPWOPWA and tell them you are part of the Proffitt/Orr wedding block so you can get that rate. They are releasing any unbooked rooms on April 1st, so that's the cutoff. Make sure you book before then if you want to stay there at the discount!

Also a few groups of friends are going in on rented beach houses near the one where we're staying in on Folly Beach. (This is also where the rehearsal dinner will be - details on that to follow as the time gets closer, but everyone's invited.) The house we are in is on the 1100 block of Arctic. If you want to look into renting something for the weekend the agency we used is Avocet Properties.
